Everything went fine with the shipment as far as I can tell. I picked up my 16 boxes today and everything looks ok. When I went to the customs office here in Dallas it was pretty simple. I think as long as you have the packaging list and the other paperwork that you get from the shipping company in the US, like Invoice/Bill of Lading then it is not a problem.
Since my stuff was all personal belongings and I packed them all, they were not so strict with me. I was at that office for maybe 15min. Once I had that I went to the warehouse here and they saw I had the Customs Release Form so it was very quick and easy, 15min again.
I appreciate you help with everything and the pricing you guys gave was very reasonable and the service was great. I would recommend you guys to my friends.

We just want to let you know that we have received our shipping and everything arrived in good condition without any major quarantine issues. We accidentally used a fruit box to ship some of our contents so Quarantine burnt the box but neatly packed all our stuff into a new one. That was fine

I was reluctantly planning to move back to Vancouver, Canada after living in Japan for 3 years. I was totally oblivious to the process and the thought of shipping my important personal belongings was extremely daunting. Our initial starting point was to start shopping around for prices with the big mainstream shipping companies like Yamato or JP post, but the global pandemic either heavily restricted the shipping allowances or halted the services altogether. The fees and prices were also exceptionally expensive due to the pandemic. I came across Japan luggage after nights of researching shipping companies based in Japan and I am grateful that I did. Naturally, I was hesitant to pull the trigger as I was totally clueless about the process. After sending an inquiry email I was replied promptly by Shimizu-san. Appropriate forms were sent with detailed explanations which he reiterated in case of confusion. Communication was never an issue.
